BlackBerry Tour to have touchscreen?

Knowing this has been floating around for a little while, I figured we could get some thoughts/concerns of the users here at BBGURU.

As release dates grow closer and closer, new speculations of the BlackBerry tour is that this device may be butted with a touchscreen interface. Wouldn't that be the cherry on the pie?

However, Phonearena does state that the name of the device is the "tour" But model number clearly shows 9030 instead of the Tours model number we know of, the 9630.

What do you think? :-) Possibly BB Atlas? Or a mistake from a supposed "tipper"? bag

I think that's a mistake.

Everything I've seen and heard about the "Tour" is that it's a cross between the Bold and the 8900.

No touch screen and and the model number is supposed to be 9630.

I can't wait to get one!

After reading the article, and viewing the spec. sheet, I believe this is a mistake as well. Actually, if it were to be released with a SurePress touch screen, I think it would turn a lot of people off to the new device. The good news is that it will be released to and available to Verizon customers smile
